“Bavarian Beer Mural”

The client for this particular project had a wall with an old Bavarian Beer mural on it, but was almost completely washed out. (see image below). After doing more than a month of looking, neither the client nor I could find an image of the original design. I started from scratch and produced more than 15 different designs, all based on the surviving murals around the area. Once the final design was chosen, the client made it their top goal to have this mural look aged, as the other murals do. After the design was painted, I took a great deal of time trying to age and antique the design, so it would look from the time that Bavarian still existed.
